Cecilie Bahnsen is looking for a Senior Finance Specialist to join our Finance team in Copenhagen.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in a globally recognised luxury fashion house undergoing continued international growth. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations across the business, from day-to-day accounting activities and reconciliations, to month-end close, financial controlling, and process improvements.

As part of the Finance team, you will play a key role in supporting the business while contributing to the continued development of our finance function. Our finance philosophy is to balance creativity with financial discipline, enabling the brand to scale while preserving its creative core.

We are looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership of operational finance processes, is driven to deliver high-quality work, and combines strong accounting fundamentals with excellent analytical and systems skills.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and up to date
• Run vendor payments and support cash flow management
• Support payroll administration and related accounting processes
• Own the month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Prepare accounting journals and other month-end accounting entries
• Assist with VAT, tax, and regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions
• Support annual audits and statutory reporting requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and scale finance processes
• Ad hoc administrative tasks

About you

• You enjoy working in a small, ambitious finance team and take ownership of a broad range of operational finance processes.
• You have 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance incl. reconciliations, month-end close, and operational accounting.
• You are highly structured, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
• You are an advanced Excel user and enjoy working with data and comfortable working across multiple systems connecting financial data from ERP, e-commerce, inventory, banking, payroll, and reporting platforms.
• Experience with visma economic is an advantage.
• Experience with inventory accounting and an understanding of stock movements, costing, and reconciliations is an advantage.
• Danish language is not a requirement
